Are you an early-career researcher (ECR) or student passionate about making a tangible impact on suicide prevention? Do you want to connect with global experts, present your work, and help shape multisectoral solutions on an international stage? The N-SPRITE organizing committee is delighted to announce the launch of its bursary applications for ECRs, offering financial support to attend the 1st N-SPRITE International Conference on Suicide Prevention.
These bursaries will support early career researchers, covering registration fee, travel and accommodation. Accommodation will be provided at the venue and the registration fees will be reimbursed. Part of the travel expenses (up to INR 2000/-) will be covered upon submission of relevant bills.

Applicants must be students currently enrolled in, or early career researchers within five years of completing, a postgraduate or doctoral degree, with a demonstrated focus on suicide prevention. Eligible disciplines include:
We welcome applications from any academic discipline or professional background whose work directly contributes to suicide prevention, policy, or postvention.
Attendance is mandatory for all three days of the conference (1 Dec – 3 Dec 2026) to be eligible for the award.
Awardees will be evaluated and selected by the Scientific Committee of the Conference based on the following criteria:
